Miracles Still Happen

Good morning boys and girls and happy Sabbath. Welcome to church.

So today's story is about three boy cousins and they were during their summer break and they were sitting around laying around um underneath the ceiling fan because it was so hot, bored because it was towards the end of their summer break thinking of what to do. And they were like, what to do? We're so bored. What to do? What to do? and one of their cousins says, let's go explore the Miller Place. They're like, oh, guess, yeah, let's go see what we could do and then we could go jump on the creek and play in the water.

And the Miller Place was an old turkey farm that had been abandoned. And the only person that was there was Miss Miller, which is like an old grandma that lived there. it was just like abandoned sheds. um that was there as the kids used to like to go explore the shed and hang out and see what to do. So they go and they see Miss Miller. They go, hi Miss Miller. She says, hi boys. Do you mind if we go explore the grounds and the shed and then we can go jump in the creek in the water. She said, go ahead boys, have fun.

So they go and then I go, what should we do? They just go explore the machine shed. We haven't been there in a while. So they go to the machine shed. And they go inside and they're exploring and playing with the machines and the tools and they're playing pretend. But then it's just too hot, too hot and humid. And Dave goes, let's just go jump in the creek already. It's just so hot to go outside. They're like, oh my God, it's just so hot.

And Richard goes, I got a better idea. I bet if we climb all the way on top of the roof of the shed. uh We'll feel a breeze up there. I bet you can. And Dave goes, well then you go first. So Richard starts climbing up, but it's a metal route. So Richard starts climbing up. I bet you can't do it. He goes, I'm going up. So he's going up, going up. He finally made it, right? And then Dave goes, bet you can't stand up. So then Richard stands up.

And he finally stands up like, woo hoo, I did it. I did it. They're like, oh, you did it. It's nice and cool up here. It's nice and cool up here. And all of a sudden, he starts sliding down. And his cousins are like, oh my god, oh my god, he's gonna fall down. And Richard starts getting scared, so he grabs onto anything he could find. He grabs onto an electrical wire.

His cousins are like in panic mode. I mean, this guy is frozen on the electrical wire. I don't know how. I don't know what happened. He lets go, it releases and he falls to the floor. And they're like, are you okay Richard, are okay? He's like, I'm okay. I'm a little shaken, I feel little weird, but I'm okay.

They finally go back home, laying on the floor, underneath the ceiling fan. goes, ah I think you just experienced some kind of miracle because you should have I know I think I experienced a miracle only in heaven what I know when I ask God.

Boys and girls we have to remember a miracle still happen and we our faith has to be strong and always believe that God is a God of miracles.
